“Our position on the war in Yemen is to reject war between the people of Yemen, because it is fighting between Muslims that serves no interest except that of their enemies, while the Muslims, especially the people of Gaza, are the ones who lose.
It is not a matter of blindly siding with one side against another, as some believe. We are neither warmongers nor people who love to see Muslims fighting one another.”
Al-Kettani was a member of the Muslim Scholars Association, but after this post, he announced his resignation from it.
2- Ali al-Qaradaghi:
“The International Union of Muslim Scholars calls for restoring the state and ending the Houthi coup.”
Al-Qaradaghi later deleted the post.
