In a report written during the First World War, British political officer Captain William Shakespear explains the British arrangement negotiated with Abdulaziz Ibn Saud, founder of the modern Saudi state.
“I venture to submit that [Ibn Saud] in effect asks for little more than what has already been conveyed…In exchange [Ibn Saud] offers to make himself a British vassal for good.”

Civilized France!
In 2019, during the Yellow Vests protests in France, videos circulated showing the usual chaos we see during French protests: looting, vandalism, destruction of public facilities, and burning of property.
At the same time, on the other side of the Mediterranean, Algeria was witnessing protests
Unlike the French chaos, Algerians protested peacefully, rejecting a fifth term for a president who could barely move and talk
They raised slogans, including those heard in the attached video:
“The people demand independence.”
“A civilian state, not a military state.”
“Tabboune is a fraud, brought to power by the military.”
Despite these protests remaining peaceful, with protesters even collecting garbage and cleaning the streets afterward, Macron ignored all the chaos in France and addressed Algerian youth on Twitter on March 12, 2019:
“The Algerian youth has known how to express its hope for change with dignity. President Bouteflika's decision opens a new page for Algerian democracy. We will stand alongside the Algerians in this new period, with friendship and with respect.” (Screenshot)
Strangely, Macron was more concerned with protests in Algeria than those taking place in his own country
And this tweet came just 1 day after Bouteflika announced the indefinite postponement of presidential elections at the time.
What happens in their “former” colonies concerns them even more than what happens in their own countries.

Trump is the best representative of the United States and Western liberalism.
For over a century, since what is called the French Revolution, which was founded on three principles:
1- Liberty
2- Equality
3- Fraternity
The same French Revolution killed between 6 to 11 million Algerians, hunted Africans with human hunting nets, photographed them, and placed them on postage stamps.
Britain, on the other hand, occupied the other part and forbade Palestinians from acquiring weapons. It even fought anyone who owned a rifle while at the same time allowing European Jews to migrate to Palestine and encouraging arms shipments to Jewish settler gangs.
Then, it stood by and watched as settlers gangs like the Haganah, Irgun, Lehi (Stern Gang), and Palmach carried out massacres against Palestinians to force them into exile and seize their homes and land. This paved the way for the establishment of Israel.
Western liberalism is a liberalism of hypocrisy, and in the age of social networks, hypocrisy is easily exposed.
If you promote values of equality and human rights to your people while simultaneously committing violations against Africans, Arabs, and Muslims, it will inevitably expose your true face and even contribute to the collapse of your ideology.
At the very least, Trump and the Western right are honest in their hostility towards South Americans, Arabs and Muslims and transparent about their colonial ambitions.
And this makes him the best representative of Western liberalism in its purest form.
