Freed Palestinian Asira (captive) Ghufran Zamel, fiancée of Palestinian Asir Hassan Salameh:
- On September 15, 2026, Israeli Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir stormed Hassan Salameh’s cell in the isolation section of Ganot Prison. Hassan was beaten before the video of Ben-Gvir’s visit was filmed.
- At 4 PM that same day, after the video, a prison suppression unit returned, stormed his cell, severely beat him, and fired 9 shots at him. She said she did not know what type of ammunition was used.
- Three days later, prison authorities took Hassan out, photographed only the areas where he was injured, and returned him to his cell without treatment, giving him only a painkiller.
- Today, his lawyer visited him and confirmed that Hassan is in serious condition, still suffering from his injuries, and visibly exhausted.
