โพ A Palestinian man displaced from northern Gaza said in an interview with Al Jazeera that the soldier stationed outside his home in a tank spoke to them in English as they fled their home:
- we were under siege for two days. The house has many tanks in front of it, not one or ten it was a huge number... The soldier that we saw had an American flag on his combat uniform... I looked at our neighbours houses, only another family in our street had survived...We left the area and could hear wounded people screaming in pain.

Climate activist Greta Thunberg is interrupted by a man on stage who grabs the mic from her hand saying "I have come here for a climate demonstration, not a political view" after Greta chanted in solidarity with Palestine during a climate protest. The man was later ushered off the stage.
The Swedish activist has faced strong backlash for a social media post in support of Palestinians in Gaza.

๐ดArrests in Jordan among those in solidarity with Gaza have included about a thousand people since October 7, whether they were arrested during the marches or outside them.
Some of them were released after hours, others after days, and some are still detained.
Some were accused of "conspiring against the regime," and this is the truest accusation in my opinion, because the regime links its fate to the occupation regime. Whoever goes out against the occupation is considered by the regime to be going against it.
The Egyptian and Jordanian regimes are trying to suppress the popular movement because it threatens their existence and their relationship with the occupation regime, and they are exploiting โpeopleโs habituationโ to massacres in Gaza.
Therefore, it is necessary for there to be a renewal of the movement in Jordan and Egypt so that we do not allow them to stifle it.
