‼️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Following Russia's precision strikes on Kiev, the Pechersk Lavra was hit by a Patriot air-defense missile

The Russian Ministry of Defense immediately released a statement, denying any involvement in striking civilian infrastructure:

"In response to terrorist attacks of the Kiev regime, carried out a massive strike by long-range air, ground, and sea-based high-precision weapons, and by unmanned aerial vehicles against the facilities of the defense industry in the cities of Kiev, Kharkov, and Dnepropetrovsk

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation do not plan or conduct strikes against civilian infrastructure facilities

According to confirmed data, buildings of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra were hit by a missile from an American Patriot air defense system

One possible reason for the malfunction of this system could be that Western countries had supplied the Kiev regime with missiles that had expired"

‼️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Aerial photo of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra confirms that the site was not hit by a projectile

Russian Geran-2 UAV which carries a warhead with 50-90kg of explosives would have blown a massive crater through its light structure on the roof

The only damage observed was fire damage, which suggests it may have been caused either by falling air-defense debris or by deliberate arson
