MIUI Updates Tracker V3 is here!
This is a full re-write of the script, it brings major changes:
Important: Removed in this release:
- We no longer provide separate files for each update variant, or separate files for every device, instead, one YAML file for latest updates will be available.
- RSS feeds for separate variants has been removed, it'll be one feed for every single device.
The new update brings new features:
- The ability to use many sources: One of them are various Xiaomi websites as sources. In addition it's easy to add another source as appears in "official" module.
- More posting platforms: The script will post updates to Telegram, Discord, and Twitter. Maybe I'll add more later.
- Updates will be posted along with its changelog, md5 and incremental update if available.
- Also, you can subscribe directly to your device updates by clicking "Subscribe" button in update post, and @XiaomiGeeksBot will send you this device updates in pm whenever available. [Telegram only]

A Script that automatically track Xiaomi Hyper OS and MIUI ROMs releases and send to channels notifying users! - XiaomiFirmwareUpdater/miui-updates-tracker
As you know, Xiaomi has been releasing updates as Stable Beta first then full release recently.
This resulted in much confusion between users as they download a rom to update manually then the updater app doesn't allow to install it.
So, I have updated @MIUIUpdatesTracker, @XiaomiGeeksBot and xiaomifirmwareupdater.com to differentiate regular stable and stable beta roms. Stable Beta may be uninstallable using the updater app, so download it if you have a custom recovery only.

Here's the first post about "Debugging and fixing Selenium's send_keys() wrong text input".

For Arabic readers, check out this post about NextDNS! It's a great service I really recommend to use to protect your internet from ads, trackers, and bad websites.

Hopes you enjoy these posts and find it useful. I'd be very grateful to hear feedback from you about the content and website!

Debugging and fixing Selenium's send_keys() wrong text input
I recently faced a weird problem while working on a freelance Selenium project in Python which is: send_keys method is sending random wrong input. Here are the details of the problem, how did I debug it and how I manged to fix after hours of investigating!
A new blog post in Arabic about controlling and customizing nextdns service has been published

Xiaomi Flashable Firmware Creator V2.1.0
A/B devices support is here
Xiaomi has released Mi 11 with virtual A/B partitions. This is the first device with MIUI interface that uses A/B since it was just limited to Android One devices. So, It became more necessary to add update payload support to our tool.
- Now you can use Xiaomi Flashable Firmware Creator to create firmware packages for Mi 11, Mi A3, Mi A2, and Mi A2 Lite. (Mi A1 is not supported!)
- For now, only firmware packages can be created, I will add fw+vendor packages support soon.
