For the Lakota, the birth of a white buffalo calf with a black nose, eyes and hooves is akin to the second coming of Jesus Christ, Looking Horse said.
Lakota legend says about 2,000 years ago โ when nothing was good, food was running out and bison were disappearing โ White Buffalo Calf Woman appeared, presented a bowl pipe and a bundle to a tribal member, taught them how to pray and said that the pipe could be used to bring buffalo to the area for food. As she left, she turned into a white buffalo calf.
โAnd some day when the times are hard again,โ Looking Horse said in relating the legend, โI shall return and stand upon the earth as a white buffalo calf, black nose, black eyes, black hooves.โ

Biden and Zelensky to ink 10-year deal for U.S. military support
President Joe Biden is set to sign a deal with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky intended to commit the U.S. to a decade of military support โ a move that could pressure rival Donald Trump if he takes the White House.
The move is a key 'deliverable' of Biden's G7 meetings set to begin in the Apulia region of Italy Thursday. The president arrived last night, and meets one on one with Zelensky before the two leaders are set to hold a joint press conference Thursday evening local time.

This is a very sad appearance and even sadder day for American leadership. Walk tall, carry a big stick (demonstrate a readiness to use it, if necessary), but by all means be humble and benevolent when the eyes of the world are upon you.
Those days are gone unless we get our act together here politically and morally and get President Trump back in office.
- General Flynn
Biden is in Italy for the G7 Summit. Other world leaders have to babysit him. They all surround him and guide him off the stage. He shuffles, looks confused, points, looks awkward trying to chat normally with his peers.

How much more obvious can the lies be?
MUST WATCH: A โmedia consultantโ for Nathan Wade interrupted a taped TV interview Wednesday as the ousted former Trump prosecutor was being grilled on the timeline of his relationship with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.
The bizarre moment unfolded after Wade revealed that he still โregularly speaksโ with Willis and has told the embattled DA that the election interference case against former President Donald Trump โwill live onโ despite his removal.
โWhen did the romantic relationship between the two of you start?โ CNNโs โThe Sourceโ host Kaitlan Collins asked Wade before the intrusion.
โYes, so we get into โ thereโs been this effort to say that, OK, these exact dates are at issue and these exact dates are,โ the former special prosecutor began to respond, when he apparently noticed his handler waving off camera.
โIโm getting โ Iโm getting signaled here,โ Wade said.
A man, identified by CNN as Wadeโs โmedia consultant,โ then approached the set and requested to speak with his client off-mic.

FIRST ON FOX: A House committee is issuing subpoenas to 15 executive agencies in the Biden administration related to constitutional concerns with one of Bidenโs executive orders and the departments' implementation.
In March 2021, Biden signed Promoting Access to Voting, which states that "executive departments and agencies should partner with State, local, Tribal, and territorial election officials to protect and promote the exercise of the right to vote, eliminate discrimination and other barriers to voting, and expand access to voter registration and accurate election information."
The plan has already come under scrutiny from Senate Republicans, who have called it a federal "voter mobilization" effort with "potentially partisan impacts."
Rep. Bryan Steil, R-Wis., chairman of the Committee on House Administration, is subpoenaing Bidenโs 15 cabinet secretaries for their detailed plans for carrying out the order just five months out from the November election.

Senate conservatives expand their blockade of Biden nominees
A group of conservative Republicans is unveiling a new effort to jam up the Senate floor in protest of former President Donald Trumpโs conviction in the New York hush-money trial.
Five of Trumpโs closest Senate allies are slated to announce Thursday that theyโll block swift confirmation of nearly four dozen of President Joe Bidenโs nominees to various positions throughout the federal government.
This represents a significant expansion of an existing pledge by Trump allies to stall Democratic-led initiatives โ both legislation and nominations โ on the Senate floor.
The new blockade will require Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to burn floor time on nominations that would typically be confirmed via unanimous consent. It includes nominees to serve on nonpartisan federal boards and commissions or represent the United States at international gatherings.
