Special counsel in Hunter Biden case plans to call his ex-wife, brother's widow as witnesses in upcoming trial
In court papers filed ahead of a June 3 trial, special counsel David Weissโ office suggested they would call multiple women who had relationships with Hunter Biden to testify in his felony gun case, including his ex-wife, Kathleen Buhle, and the widow of his late brother Beau Biden, Hallie Biden.
The revelations emerged late Monday in a trial brief filed by the government. The 97-page document includes the law and evidence prosecutors plan to use to prove that Hunter Biden committed three felonies when he procured a firearm in 2018 while under the influence of drugs.
The filing does not name Buhle or Hallie Biden. But the descriptions make their identities clear.

๐จ๐จWorld Economic Forum founder and executive chairman Klaus Schwab will be stepping back from his role running the global gathering since he founded it in 1971.
Schwab announced his intentions in an email to staff on Tuesday that was shared with Semafor by a person connected to the organization.
He will be stepping down as executive chairman and transitioning to a role as non-executive chairman, he said, adding the change in his role is pending approval by the Swiss government but should be finalized ahead of the WEFโs annual meeting in 2025.
Schwab has not named his successor, but said that over the last year, the groupโs executive board, โunder the leadership of President Bรธrge Brende, has taken full executive responsibility.โ
Brende is a former Norwegian conservative leader.

Federal investigators are trying to determine how Matthew Perry got the ketamine that killed him, it has emerged.
Local police and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents have interviewed some 'key people in Hollywood' who are known drug users, an insider told TMZ.
The interviewees are not 'necessarily the actual source of ketamine', the news outlet reported, but authorities believe they may have 'information leading to the source'.
Sources close to Perry told investigators that he was undergoing ketamine infusion therapy, an experimental treatment used to treat depression and anxiety, at the time of his death.
But his most recent known infusion was more than a week before his overdose, meaning that dose would no longer have been in his system.

The man behind the U.S. Armyโs 4th Psychological Operations Group "unsettling" new recruitment video wanted to create something where the right people to join PSYOPs became "obsessed" with the message on screen, he tells Fox News Digital.
The video, "Ghosts in the Machine 2," dropped earlier this May, and has garnered varied reactions, from one user commenting, "This is seriously f'd up" to another writing, "This was the weirdest recruitment ad Iโve ever seen. Iโm in." Loaded with eerie music, historical speeches and cryptic visuals, it was designed to lure recruits into psychological operations.
An Army Major, who is part of the 8th Psychological Operations Group, was the mastermind behind the recruiting tactic.
"The Army is going through this massive recruiting crisis โฆ The thing that I noticed with all of our PSYOP recruiting products is that people are paying attention to the wrong thing โฆ How do I create something where people are not distracted by what they're seeing on screen, but they're obsessed with the message instead," he said in an interview with Fox News Digital.
