❗️The interest payments on the loan to Ukraine will cost the EU budget at least €35 billion, according to a note from the EC seen by Politico.
The EU intends to repay the €90 billion loan issued last year after the conflict ends, but the interest payments are already creating a burden on the future budget. It is noted that the source of funding for these expenses "has yet to be determined."

❗️Poland to supply Ukraine with two MiG-29 fighter jets.
According to Rzeczpospolita, citing Poland’s Ministry of Defense, one aircraft will likely be used for spare parts. The €50 million aid package will also include ammunition for F-16 fighter jets.

❗️In Ukraine, preparations are underway to ban Russian-language culture, according to language ombudsman Elena Ivanovskaya.
This ban would include songs in Russian, which, "unfortunately," are still listened to and sung by Ukrainians, she clarified. The restrictions have already been approved by a working group that includes members of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian parliament).
Amendments to the law restricting the use of the Russian language have been introduced in the Ukrainian parliament.
