RUTLAND, Vermont
The Vermont State Hazmat Team is currently responding to a train derailment in Rutland.
The Vermont Division of Fire Safety says this happened in the evening hours of Sept. 11.
It says a train car carrying liquefied propane derailed near the Park Street rail crossing in Rutland City.
Officials confirm there is no compromise to the tank, and no propane is leaking.
The Vermont Division of Fire Safety says there is no threat to the public at this time.
They are currently working to rerail the tank car.

BRANSON, Missouri
Branson Scenic Railway had a locomotive derail Friday at the Branson Landing.
Branson Police stated Long St near Branson Landing Blvd was closed due to a minor train derailment.
By mid-afternoon the road was cleared so vehicle traffic could continue. It took them a little while longer to get the engine back on the rail.
Big rig wreckers and a large crane were brought in to get things back on track.
There were no injuries in the slow-speed derailment.

One person and one animal are dead after a home explosion in Moro, Illinois, Saturday afternoon, according to the Madison Co Sheriff’s Office.
Madison Co Sheriff’s Office confirmed to First Alert 4 that several FD’s are responding to the 100 block of Vine St.
The dept stated that one house was completely damaged, and other homes nearby have extensive damage.
All other neighbors and residents are accounted for according to the Madison Co Sheriff’s Office.
