Talk about earthquakes in diverse places, a rare M3.8 very shallow quake at 4 miles deep was just reported by the USGS out of Central Illinois!
This follows a M4.9 earthquake east of Los Angeles, California that was a mere mile deep! A lot of people reported feeling it.

A powerful M7.1 earthquake struck Japan's Kumamoto Prefecture.
Around the same time, unusual cloud formations were seen over the region, leading many people to wonder if the two were connected.
Some call these "earthquake clouds," but there is currently no scientific evidence that unusual cloud formations can reliably predict or are caused by earthquakes. Most scientists consider them ordinary atmospheric phenomena that coincidentally occurred around the same time.
Sometimes nature creates patterns that seem extraordinary. Not every coincidence reveals a hidden cause—but every mystery is worth exploring. ☁️🌍
