Germany ‘knew about Magdeburg killer’ last year - Federal Criminal Police Office
Saudi Arabia tipped off FCPO chief Holger Munch in November 2023 about the suspect in the Magdeburg Christmas market killing, whom Munch insisted had been appropriately investigated.
Taleb A, as media have named him for legal reasons, arrived in Germany in 2006, and Munch said they knew he had “made insults and even threats” - but insisted “he was not known to have committed acts of violence”.
Locals were seen fuming in the streets, blaming the past 'traffic light' coalition.
