The MTA on Wednesday unveiled a new subway map for the first time in nearly 50 years, saying the updated graphics provides riders with essential travel information in an easily readable, bright, and orderly manner.

The new map can be found on digital screens in stations, and will be rolled out on train cars over the next month, according to MTA Chair and CEO Janno Lieber.
