A video of what appears to be a surface rupture of the Sagaing fault, at Myanmar. At the moment we do not know exactly how much it has slipped, USGS models hypothesize maximum displacements in the order of 6 meters. For confirmation we must wait for satellite data.

Un altro incredibile video della liquefazione del suolo innescata dal #terremoto in #Myanmar: l'acqua cerca la via più rapida per raggiungere la superficie e lo fa sia attraverso i pozzi già esistenti che creando nuove fratture nel terreno, anche coi famosi vulcanetti di fango.

The first images are also starting to arrive from the epicentral area, showing us the liquefaction of the ground caused by the violent earthquake: water-saturated ground is subjected to sudden pressures and vibrations and therefore behaves like a dense liquid. #Myanmar
