More snow is on the way Saturday morning through Sunday. The first wave comes with a fast-moving low: expect a quick heavy burst of snow, low visibility, and around T–3" of accumulation. Saturday night, snow squalls are possible on the backside, with lake effect cranking on the Michigan side Sunday into Monday.

Snow squalls are short-lived, intense bursts of snow with sudden whiteout visibility, gusty winds, and rapidly icing roads—like a mini blizzard that can cause instant, dangerous travel over a small area.
