What might be considered delusional thinking is the seemingly impossible mission to answer the government's call to community action (CAN) and develop a system to reduce crime with measurable results.
Building on 21 years of experience and 10 generations of development, we are now launching Generation 11 (2018-2024) PLANET-CAN. Positively Leading and Networking Everyone Together in Community Action Networks.
This ambitious initiative represents a direct investment of R14,000,000 (excluding the purpose-designed and manufactured 10,000 ConnectMe Halo Intimate Mobile devices, encompassing software, operating system, firmware, and hardware).
This initiative arises amidst a backdrop of alarming statistics: 27,000 murders and 40,000 missing persons, many of whom are likely victims of murder that remain unacknowledged. Hostages, rapes, and the loss of children – all these incidents leave wounds we simply cannot heal from.

Day 9, Behind the Elephant!
Stabbed in the lungs and heart, all those present did what mattered most, a hardcoded response in our humanity: they guided Steve Irwin to think ahead, to his children, to the future they embodied. In that moment of dying, nothing else mattered but what lay ahead. His heart was bleeding out, his life force fading fast, but even as his body surrendered, his spirit surged forward, connecting with the very essence of what endures: love, family, the lessons learned—his legacy. A life well lived transcends death, its memories woven into daily conversations, its lessons rippling outward, creating a mushroom effect across our world.
His last words, in response to his inner circle of friends, were: “I am dying.” This means to take my sword, a powerful and deeply connecting way of saying, "I am with you, I love you, and together we made the best of me which you can now take."
One of the world's greatest wonders is the mathematical graph of an upshot legacy in motion. The stronger the legacy, the higher the upshot, which lives on by giving life in so many immeasurable ways. A conversation we're having now is one, some 18 years, 4 months, and 15 days after that Monday, 4th of September 2006.
I remember in my stillness and silence, tears of loss streamed down my face, heavy drips with a weight that splashed, when I heard we had lost this friend, a Humanitarian, a Global Conservationist, an international Police Partner. Like you, I know that our planet, wildlife and animals are the foundation of our humanity, as is humanity's lifeboat, that's our farmers, by the way.
I had many conversations with Steve before the stabbing, and even more with his legacy. Of course, I was one of the millions who never met him, but yet we all met him. His life is valued and treasured. His wife, children, a nation, our entire planet—all are touched by a united, shared energy. This energy, I believe, will reverberate for centuries to come. We each have a choice to pick up his sword, to pick up all swords of all lives well lived. We can choose to recognize the profound truth in those final words: "I am dying! My life and love reside in all children. The future—that is my power, my greatest and most valuable investment."
There is nothing more beautiful than having the time to say and reconcile with mortality, "I am dying," before confessing my greatest mistake: creating Africa's panic buttons on cell phones. This mistake, however, has illuminated a new path. I will campaign to remove all panic buttons and copycat versions, replacing them with Generation 11: The Mastery Experiences. This technology fosters human connection—our personal halo, our united halo within our intimate circle of family and friends. That is where true power lies, in the gift of life, death, and legacy forces.
I am building my Halo Family, a tapestry woven with love, legacy, and unwavering belief in our shared humanity. Like elephants, known for their strength, wisdom, and deep family bonds, we gather. Day 8: The True Colours of Hope and the Strength of Many Voices!
MTN Red-Lightning Private Halo Mobile Network
The world watched in horror as the blue lights flashed, the camera rolled, and George Floyd's life was extinguished by the very actions of those meant to protect, in an ultimate betrayal of trust.
The outrage ignited a global movement, Black Lives Matter, demanding justice and an end to systemic racism. This tragic event forced a reckoning with deep-seated prejudices.
But amidst the pain and anger, something else emerged: a powerful wave of unity, but for me, something deeper emerged: the key point that seemed to be missed across the world was the understanding that our true colours of humanity follow a wonderful natural journey of skin colours, health, wellness and that all life in all voices matter, all actions paint our true colours, the competition is good verse evil and what we give power to by labelling.
If we lose hope, we lose direction. Hope is the road ahead, illuminated by the stories we share. But it's our voices that matter, raised in kindness, compassion, and solidarity, mastered controlled violence, anger, rage and discipline of our inner Samurai warrior, that we can access and use to serve and protect any voice that matters. This is what genuinely paints the world in these beautiful colours both physically, emotionally and by our actions.
The horrors I've faced as a police officer and business humanitarian are etched deep – violent crimes, hostage situations, and the loss of children. Yet, even in darkness, the human spirit shines bright. I've seen victims' strength, unwavering resilience, and the transformative power of diverse voices uniting for a brighter future!
As the creator of Africa's cell phone panic buttons, I made a catastrophic design flaw. This technology silenced public voices instead of amplifying them. I realised this in 2018, and it illuminated a new path. Generation 11: The Mastery Experiences began its journey to build our InstantConnect Emergency Telecoms System for our PLANET.

Day 7: Generation 11: A New Path
MTN Red-Lightning Private Halo Mobile Network
George Floyd's murder on Monday, 25 May 2020, spoke to me deeply. It sparked a period of intense reflection and learning, shaping my design and vision for Generation 11. I knew this project would unfold like a treasure map, revealing wonderful secrets and insights about the interplay between technology and human connection. On Thursday, 27 August 2020, these ideas crystallised into a document I called "I can see your true colours!". Now, in 2025, this understanding of human connection has become the driving force behind Generation 11.
Through deep learning and understanding the human connection, as well as the finite edges of our humanities moral and legal transgressions hardcoded into our IMICS case management system, MTN has partnered with us.
After explaining Generation 11, I proposed something wild but fully understood by MTN: I would sign and be fully responsible for 10,000 mobile phone contracts needed by my 10,000-strong First Halo Family.
These contracts would provide airtime and data for their Mobile Halo Devices, limited by design to a Halo Circle of 15 intimate family, children, and friends, fostering deep connections within their tribe, culture, and African nation. This ensures we focus on the purpose: the circle of "private encrypted, intimate and deeply personal, trusted, true-colour voices."
As this was completely pioneering, and MTN truly believes in our African nations, the team was incredibly generous with endorsements, empowering and creating our first worldwide Halo.
My initial request for 25 airtime minutes and data pricing was met with incredible generosity. MTN offered the initial 25 minutes at a set price, plus 25 free minutes and unlimited data! Thank you, MTN Africa, for your trust and support in helping launch 10,000 Halos across the nation. The power of this collective is mind-blowing because, by design, it's comprised of human beings with passion, purpose, and a desire to see prosperity.
MTN Africa also provided ultra-low per-second billing to promote warm, genuine conversations. International roaming and cross-border communication are standard, allowing connections worldwide.

Yesterday, we explored the guiding principles that form the foundation of our shared humanity. Today, we delve into the practical tools I've developed over the past 22 years to translate those values into action. This is where I-MICS (Incident Management and Information Capturing System) comes in. I-MICS is a comprehensive system designed to safeguard our planet, our humanity, and all life. It encompasses dedicated platforms to address a diverse range of needs:
AWR (Animal Welfare, Wildlife and Raptor Rescue): This platform focuses on protecting and preserving animal life, recognising the interconnectedness of all living beings and the importance of ecological balance.
SVS (Specialised Victim Support): This platform provides comprehensive, long-term support to victims of priority crimes or major losses, guiding them through the complexities of the legal and recovery process. SVS addresses every stage of the victim's journey, from the initial incident onwards—potentially spanning decades. This includes support through the arrest, bail application, trial, conviction, and even extends to restorative justice, parole hearings, and reintegration. SVS provides a detailed roadmap for case forecasting, with meticulous attention to each step, and supports intimate circles with sensitive, precise, and factual media and public communications strategies, ensuring effective collaboration with all stakeholders. The platform is unique in its technology-driven approach and ongoing research into timeline management and the micromanagement of tasks.
Halo: This advanced technology platform is embodied in our purposefully designed "Halo" mobile devices. Tomorrow, with three days left to go before I land, we will delve deeper into Halo devices, which are a significant part of the Generation 11 launch. These devices are more than just phones; they are tools for positive change, facilitating communication within CANs, providing access to resources that support the Triple P's and Triple A's, and acting as a touchpoint for safety, security, love, and belonging in our world, while fostering a global community.
