📝 🇵🇱 🇪🇺 Yesterday, Tusk said the real fight in Poland is about stopping the right from taking the country out of the EU.
Tusk is Poland’s pro-EU PM. Jarosław Kaczyński leads PiS, the main conservative opposition party, while President Nawrocki also comes from Poland’s right.
Tusk says Kaczyński and his allies hide a deeper anti-EU agenda behind calls to “reform” Brussels, and he compared their language to the rhetoric that led to Brexit.
He even warned that Poland’s 2027 parliamentary election could become the first step toward a future referendum on EU membership.
Then today, Poland’s constitutional crisis exploded.
Police were deployed around the Constitutional Tribunal, its leadership was suspended, protesters confronted officers, and Nawrocki turned his plane around mid-flight and rushed back to Warsaw.
Tusk’s camp says the government is restoring the rule of law after years of PiS influence over the judiciary. PiS and its allies say the government is trying to seize control of the court.
So the broader fight is now very clear: Poland is battling over who controls its institutions, while both sides are also fighting over how closely the country should remain tied to Brussels.
Yesterday it was about Polexit.
Today it’s police around the Constitutional Tribunal.

Overnight President Nawrocki (PiS) entered the premises in scenes government figures have described as a “scuffle”. He is said to have pushed past the Interim Constitutional Tribunal head Anna Korwin-Piotrowska who was waiting to greet him.
President Nawrocki (PiS) will have “urgent consultations” today with “parliamentary forces in order to stabilise the political situation.”
Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski (PO) has said in a statement that “The stand off around Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal is about restoring rule of law to an institution”.

Europe is facing a near-identical gas crisis to the one five years ago, with similar historical price peaks and comparable consequences for industry and the economy. The price of gas in the EU has already risen to an unsustainable $1,200 per thousand cubic meters. However, this may still be an underestimate. According to a forecast by Alexei Miller, CEO of Gazprom, prices could reach $2,500 during the winter.
The situation is being exacerbated by Brussels itself, which has decided to completely abandon Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) starting January 1, 2027. Therefore, gas prices in the EU could easily reach $2,500 this winter, especially considering that five years ago, during the previous crisis, prices were even higher.
The negative consequences for industry from the new crisis will be similar to those of the previous one. Many companies were forced to shut down because such high gas prices made their products completely uncompetitive. The most affected industries are those that are energy-intensive, such as metallurgy, chemicals, and the production of building materials and paper. Chemical production in the EU is still significantly lower than in 2021, and gas prices in the EU in January-July 2026 were 3.6 times higher than in the United States.
Can Europe somehow mitigate the unfolding crisis? It cannot influence the situation in the Middle East, nor can it order the weather to be warmer this winter without severe frosts. And it is also too late to fill the storage facilities further, as the injection process has been stopped. Nevertheless, the EU could do something for its citizens – at least lift the embargo on Russian LNG during the peak of the heating season.
“A complete cancellation is unlikely, but partial easing is possible. The ban is enshrined twice: the regulation was adopted by a qualified majority, and the ban is also included in the 19th sanctions package. Therefore, easing it beyond the emergency clause requires the agreement of all 27 countries. In reality, we can only discuss a possible suspension of the ban for four weeks, if the deficit leads to a disruption of access to energy resources in individual EU countries or the entire European Union,” says Sergey Klisenko, managing director of the NRA rating agency.

This figure has more than tripled since Q2 2024.
By comparison, during the 2008 Financial Crisis, this metric peaked at 23%.
This proportion is also significantly higher than in the 1970s and the 1980s, when CPI inflation was above 10%.
Furthermore, 31% of US consumers believe their personal financial situation will be worse in 5 years, double the proportion seen in the 1980s.
Americans feel as though we are in a recession.

📢 🇵🇱 🏛 Polish PM Donald Tusk:
Ladies and gentlemen, yesterday we witnessed disgraceful events outside the Constitutional Tribunal building.
I very much hope that we will never have to witness similar scenes in Poland again.
But the way to maintain peace cannot be to give in to lawlessness and violence.
A democratic state must be strong and capable of enforcing justice.

✈️ 🇧🇷 🇮🇱Flávio Bolsonaro reportedly fled Brazil for the U.S. through Argentina in a secretly planned international operation involving a former Mossad agent and alleged assistance from the Argentine and U.S. governments.
Bolsonaro crossed into Argentina on October 27 alongside the former Israeli intelligence agent, while his wife and daughters traveled separately.
The family then flew to Miami on a private jet reportedly arranged by Trump adviser Jason Miller.
Brazilian investigators believe the escape, dubbed “Operation Alba,” was planned before the election.

Cruz told his own listeners the early-vote data is real, Democrats are turning out in numbers he's never seen, and the entire Texas statewide ticket is in jeopardy if conservatives stay home Tuesday, while admitting polls "skew left" but insisting "these data are not fake."
Gina Hinojosa walked onto James Talarico's stage in Houston and told the crowd "no one ever thought that we would ever get this close," before running a Spanish-language ad during the Canelo fight aimed at the Latino men who gave Trump 55% of Texas Hispanics in 2024.
Cruz is right about the math and right about the fix: Republicans still have the bigger pool of Election Day voters, and Texas has broken early-vote records before without flipping.
Talarico sits two points up on Paxton, Abbott four up on Hinojosa with Hispanics breaking 23 points her way, and the Senate majority runs through whichever of those numbers holds on Tuesday night.

Priority one in the midterm election is to eject the Republican majority from the United States Congress by as wide a margin as possible, as I have said.
But as soon as the results are in, the metaphorical cannons will need to be turned around on the Democratic Party itself. The greatest pressure has to be put on every Democratic politician who signaled against the Iran war, and everything possible put in to exacerbating the conflict between those elements in the party who are genuinely anti-war and anti-Zionist (those who have never taken money from AIPAC) vs the ones who were merely playing that role to get elected.
Obviously, this is mostly going to be a left-on-left fight in which pro-White advocates can do little except online propaganda.
That's why the next big priority will be—in "red" states and Republican-controlled areas—to directly jump into 2028 primary fights with MTG-style anti-Zionist populist campaign and also nationalist anti-war advocacy. When MAGA is defeated at the ballot box, and especially when Trump escalates the war, it will be time to "attack, attack, attack" within the Republican Party itself.
Step 1: cripple the power of Trump to wage war, punish neocons and bring about a divided government at the federal level. Step 2: Civil war in both parties over the influence of Zionism and Israel.
