The advantage of steeped footing

Stepped footing is simple type of isolated footing provide over soil having less bearing capacity. Because low bearing capacity load need to be transfer over larger area and load should transfer with specific pattern (the effective cross section shall be limited by the area above the neutral plane )

The steeped footing are more economical than the steeped ones .
