๐Ÿšฐ Proper vs Improper Plumbing Installation

๐Ÿ’ซMany buildings face low water pressure and leakage problems because of incorrect pipe sizing and poor plumbing layout. In the left example, a ยฝ inch main line is used directly with multiple T connections, which reduces pressure and affects water flow.

โœ… In the correct system, a 1 inch main supply line is used and gradually reduced using reducers (1" โ†’ ยพ" โ†’ ยฝ"). This helps maintain proper pressure and smooth water distribution. A valve and pressure gauge are also added for better control and monitoring.

๐Ÿšซ Improper Plumbing

- Uses main line ร˜ ยฝ" directly from tank.
- Multiple faucets connected via T connector.
- No pressure control system installed.
- Mismatched pipe sizes cause uneven flow.
- Results in low pressure and inefficient water distribution.

โœ… Proper Plumbing

- Starts with main supply ร˜ 1" for stronger flow.
- Gradual reduction using reducers (1" โ†’ ยพ", ยพ" โ†’ ยฝ").
- Includes valve ร˜ ยฝ" for control.
- Equipped with pressure gauge (45 PSI) for monitoring.
- Ensures consistent pressure and efficient water delivery.

๐Ÿ“Œ Key Lesson:

Always use the correct pipe diameter and proper reducers to maintain water pressure and system efficiency.

๐Ÿ’ก Good plumbing design = Better water flow + Less maintenance + Long-lasting system..

๐Ÿ‘‰Water Tank Capacity Calculation

๐Ÿ”–The capacity of a cylindrical water tank is calculated using:

๐ŸชงVolume = (ฯ€/4) ร— dยฒ ร— h

๐ŸงทWhere:

d = Diameter of tank

h = Height of tank

Example:

Diameter = 6 ft

Height = 8 ft

Volume = 226.08 ftยณ

Since 1 ftยณ = 28.317 litres,

Capacity = 226.08 ร— 28.317 = 6399.64 litres

โœ…Water Tank Capacity = 6399.64 Litres
