Israel has killed 150 Palestinians—an average of three people every 24 hours—since the ceasefire on 19 January 2025. The Euro-Med Monitor field team has documented Israeli sniper and drone attacks since the ceasefire went into effect, as well as the continued use of the blockade as a weapon of slow death by starvation in the ongoing genocide in the #Gaza Strip.
The ongoing killings by the Israeli army are carried out by snipers and drones, including quadcopter aircraft, which target Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip. The deadly attacks frequently occur when residents attempt to return and inspect their damaged homes near the so-called “buffer zone” imposed by Israel along the Strip’s northern and eastern borders.

Once again, Israel is committing mass killings against Palestinians in #Gaza, wiping out entire families and leveling residential buildings with their inhabitants inside. While the exact number of victims remains unknown, with many still missing or trapped under the rubble, over 400 Palestinians have been confirmed dead within just nine hours.

The international community's inaction regarding Israel's heinous crimes in the Gaza Strip over the past 18 months is not only a disgraceful failure but also a de facto endorsement of further massacres and genocide—facilitating the continued mass murder of Palestinians and the systematic destruction of their means of subsistence in a blatant attempt to eradicate them entirely.

No matter what excuses Israel may offer, the systematic patterns of mass murder, continuous forced starvation, deliberate deprivation of essential survival resources, and the complete destruction of Gaza's infrastructure are unequivocally unacceptable. Under the United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, these acts are considered genocide and are classified as war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Palestinian Territory – Disturbing testimonies have emerged indicating that the Israeli army killed a young civilian in the Gaza Strip for refusing to cooperate with the Israeli intelligence service.

The Israeli army directly targeted Mohammed Iyad Tabasi on Tuesday morning (6 May 2025). Tabasi, a 24-year-old sanitary worker at a field hospital in the central Gaza town of Az-Zawayda, was targeted with a drone strike near the displacement camp where he was staying. According to the victim’s family, for nearly a month before his targeting, Israeli intelligence contacted Tabasi several times, requesting that he cooperate with them.

He received multiple calls from an Israeli intelligence officer pressuring him to provide information. When he refused to cooperate, he was deliberately targeted with a direct missile strike that tore his body apart.
