Time’s up for Mayfair, say Indians who fear Rolexes will be stolen

Wealthy Indians are said to be avoiding Mayfair in London because there are so many watch thefts, claiming Delhi is safer and “you won’t be mugged there”
At least 25,802 watches had been stolen in 2022 in street robberies, burglaries and from gym lockers. Rolex Datejust, Omega Seamaster and Patek Philippe Aquanaut watches, worth up to £84,000, were among those reported stolen.
