Ann Widdecombe served as a fearless & principled MP for 23 years (1987-2010). Her strong Christian faith guided her every step.

In 1997 she famously declared Michael Howard had 'something of the night' about him.

In 1989 she passionately defended the unborn in the Abortion Act debate.

Sadly many of her early fiery speeches pre-date routine filming of proceedings, but her unyielding pro-life stance & Christian conviction shone through. A true conviction politician. 🕊️ #AnnWiddecombe
