On the occasion of Arbaeen pilgrimage, IRIC has published a booklet entitled “Pilgrimage: Ziyara from the Viewpoint of the Holy Quran, Hadiths and Theological Discourses” to be distributed among English speaking pilgrims of Imam Hussain (PBUH).
This booklet offers brief information and responds to some critics on pilgrimage and visiting holy shrines of AhlulBayt (A.s.), which you may find enlightening Inshallah.

به مناسبت اربعین حسینی (ع)، مرکز اطلاعات و تحقیقات اسلامی جزوه‌ای را با عنوان "زیارت از منظر قرآن کریم، احادیث و مباحث کلامی" به زبان انگلیسی ترجمه و منتشر نموده است تا میان زوار انگلیسی زبان حضرت ابا عبدالله الحسین (ع) در مسیر کربلای معلی توزیع نماید.
این مقاله که برگرفته از مدخل زیارت از جلد 21 دانشنامه جهان اسلام می‌باشد در تیراژ 4000 نسخه منتشر و توزیع گردیده است.

Religious liberty has become a particularly politicized topic in recent years. In recent years, state lawmakers, lawyers and influential social commentators have been making the case that Muslims are not protected by the First Amendment.
Why? Because, they argue, Islam is not a religion. John Bennett, a Republican state legislator in Oklahoma, said in 2014, “Islam is not even a religion; it is a political system that uses a deity to advance its agenda of global conquest.”

The famous Norwegian historian Kari Vogt, from Oslo University’s Department of Culture Studies and Oriental Languages, has estimated that as much as 3,000 Norwegians converted to Islam in the recent few years.
