🇮🇷 Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says the Strait of Hormuz will no longer be managed under the previous system, calling for a new security arrangement led by Iran and other Gulf states without foreign military involvement.

Araghchi states Iran and Oman previously ensured safe passage through the strategic waterway, but insists lasting regional stability now requires an end to the war on all fronts and protection against further attacks on Iran.
