The remarks sparked widespread backlash, particularly amid reports that the IRGC has recently been placed on the European Union’s list of terrorist organizations.

Some reports indicate that Owj Arts and Media Organization, an entity affiliated with the IRGC, is believed to be responsible for producing a significant portion of Ofogh TV’s programming.

Shortly thereafter, reports emerged that the head of the Basij Center at IRIB had been appointed as the new acting director of Ofogh TV.

The segment reflects a broader pattern within state-affiliated media aimed at dehumanizing protesters and minimizing the gravity of state violence against them.

شبکه افق وابسته به صداوسما در برنامه‌ای تلویزیونی، کشتار معترضان در اعتراضات دی‌ماه ۱۴۰۴ را به سخره گرفت. مجری این برنامه با لحنی تمسخرآمیز و طرح پرسشی درباره محل نگهداری پیکر جان‌باختگان، گفت: «جمهوری اسلامی جنازه‌ها را در چه یخچالی نگهداری می‌کند؟» و چند گزینه برای پاسخ مطرح کرد. این اقدام واکنش‌های گسترده‌ای را برانگیخت؛ به‌ویژه در شرایطی که سپاه پاسداران به‌تازگی در فهرست سازمان‌های تروریستی اتحادیه اروپا قرار گرفته است.

برخی گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که سازمان هنری رسانه‌ای اوج وابسته به سپاه، مؤسسه‌ای است که گفته می‌شود، تهیه و تولید بخش عمده‌ای از برنامه‌های این شبکهٔ تلویزیونی را به عهده دارد.

در پی این واکنش‌ها، صداوسیما اعلام کرد که به‌دلیل پخش محتوای موهن نسبت به شهدا و جان‌باختگان حوادث دی‌ماه، مدیر شبکه افق عزل و پخش برنامه «خط‌خطی» متوقف شده است.

تنها دقایقی بعد از این خبر، گزارش شد که رییس مرکز بسیج (وابسته به سپاه) در صداوسیما، سرپرست شبکه افق شد.

این بخش بازتاب‌دهنده الگویی گسترده‌تر در رسانه‌های وابسته به حکومت است که هدف آن انسان‌زدایی از معترضان و کم‌اهمیت جلوه دادن شدت خشونت اعمال‌شده از سوی دولت علیه آنان است.

بر اساس اطلاعات منتشرشده در شبکه‌ های اجتماعی، یک شهروند با نام «فرح» ۶۳ ساله در جریان اعتراضات ۱۹ دی‌ ۱۴۰۴ در تهران جان خود را از دست داده است. فرزند او با انتشار یک مطلب در حساب اینستاگرام خود، خبر کشته‌ شدن مادرش را در این روز اعلام کرده، اما جزئیات بیشتری درباره نام خانوادگی وی منتشر ننموده است. لازم به ذکر است که هنوز پیکر وی به خانواده اش تحویل داده نشده است.
