Laleh Saati, a Christian convert imprisoned in Evin prison, has been sentenced to two years’ imprisonment and banned from leaving the country by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court headed by Judge Iman Afshari on the charge of acting against national security. This verdict was delivered to her in prison on Sunday, March 24, 2024. She had been arrested by the security forces and transferred to the Evin prison's women's ward on February 13, 2024. During her detention, she was transferred to the detention center of the Ministry of Intelligence, Ward 209 of Evin prison and was interrogated several times.
