♦️#Mohammad_Qobadlou, one of the detainees of the nationwide protests in 2022, was executed on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, in Qezel Hesar prison in Karaj. He was accused of killing a security officer, but his lawyer said he suffered from bipolar disorder and his sentence had been overturned by the Supreme Court. Some Iranian lawyers and human rights organizations called Qobadloo's execution "illegal" and "a crime" against human rights in Iran. Qobadloo was only 22 years old and had no criminal record. He was sentenced to death for waging war against God and corruption on earth. However, according to his lawyer, the murder charge was baseless. He was not a killer at all.
