Proposal/ Mechanical Engineer - Remote (Full-Time)

We are looking for an experienced Proposal Engineer to join our team on a full-time remote basis. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals for filtration and process packages, from RFQ review through bid submission.
Key Responsibilities
• Review and analyze RFQs, Material Requisitions (MRs), specifications, datasheets, P&IDs, and other tender documents to define project scope and requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates for:
o Pressure vessels
o Piping systems
o Structural steel
o Spool fabrication
o Other package-related equipment and components
• Develop proposal deliverables, including:
o General Arrangement Drawings (GADs)
o Vessel Datasheet

• Obtain, review, and evaluate vendor quotations to ensure technical compliance and competitive pricing.
• Conduct technical and commercial bid evaluations and prepare Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) reports.
• Maintain and enhance the company’s cost estimation database.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and suppliers during the tendering process.
• Manage multiple bid submissions while ensuring compliance with project requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in proposal engineering, estimation, or tendering for process equipment, filtration systems, or packaged units.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering documents, including P&IDs, specifications, datasheets, and material requisitions.
• Hands-on experience in estimating fabricated equipment and process packages.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PV Elite, and AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of vendor quotation analysis, technical evaluations, and commercial assessments.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken.
