🇨🇳 The return of Chinese diplomacy.

🦠🏳️ After the Covid years, Beijing has become active again in the international arena, agreements signed with the Salomon Islands, initiatives in Central Asia with the C-C5 platform, mediation between Iran and Saudi Arabia, peace proposals in Ukraine and the visit of Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas to Beijing to meet Xi Jinping. China wants to get the most neutral and ambiguous countries on its side. Beijing recognises Palestine's independence and has proposed the two-state solution, but intends to connect the port of Haifa in Israel to the Silk Road beside the Mediterranean Sea.

🇮🇱 Israel plays a double game, it knows the impossibility of a peace proposal and it knows it cannot abandon the United States for its own national security. China would like to mediate but has no military presence to do so in the Middle East. It does not side with any nation and shows itself as an alternative to the United States in the region. Washington has put the Middle East in the background, does not want new conflicts and wants to mediate with Iran on nuclear. Chinese diplomacy is weak without the use of force. Beijing’s latest actions are symbolic, it wants to show how it is possible to mediate without the use of force, but nothing changes in the Middle East.

🇸🇪 Swedish CV9040C was spotted yesterday in Ukraine.

🗡 The CV90 has a 40mm autocannon capable of using a variety of rounds including airburst and apfsds. The armor is designed to withstand 30mm rounds from BMPs. The IFV also seems equipped with a “Barracuda” camouflage kit, which reduces its visibility ranges in the thermal and radar spectrums.

🇺🇦 In today's battles in the Lobkove area the ukrainian forces have achieved some degree of success, with rumors of Pyatykhatky now being in the gray zone (or rather contested, although it is almost certain that russian units are present within the settlement).

🇷🇺 In the sector, the south ossetian forces (pro-russian formation from South Ossetia, a disputed region in Georgia) are in serious difficulty, since in the last week the neighboring 125th regiment (DPR) and the 429th rifle regiment engine did not send units to reinforce the area, but managed to avoid a ukrainian breakthrough.
The South Ossetian units are one with the worst equipment in the theatre, being issue older equipment such as T-62s and even T-54s.
