This is the third time an Indian president has visited the United States. The last time was with Manmohan Singh in 2009. India is an important country for Washington to contain China. Trade between Washington and New Delhi has reached $180 billion a year and relations have improved since the presidency of Bush the father. US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan promises to strengthen relations with India on other dossiers such as defence and high technology.
Although India was a non-aligned country during the Cold War, it is now a member of several multilateral organizations, but avoids condemning the invasion of Russia.

Modi has been accused of human rights violations against the Muslim minority in India, favoring the Hindu religion in the country.

🇷🇺🇷🇺 South ossetian servicemen in the Pyatykhatky area say they are still fighting in the area and their destruction was a fake news spread by ukrainian medias.
While it is likely that some units of the south ossetian forces are still in the area it is certain that operations in the area are being handled by the 125th DPR Regiment and partially by the 429th Motor Rifle Regiment, with the survived south ossetian units now under their command control.
It should be noted that the south ossetian forces, despite being poorly equipped and hardly supported for a whole week by other units, managed to avoid an immediate Ukrainian breakthrough

🙃 In recent days a lot of Russian sources, like TASS, had reported that Budanov was seriously injured in a missile attack on Kyiv and transported to hospital in Berlin in serious condition.

🇺🇦🇷🇺 After the fall of Pyatykhatky ukrainian forces advanced along the street between Luhove and Pyatykhatky, passing trought the small settlement of Zherebyanky.
Apparently an armored convoy of the 125th regiment DPR war moving on the main street, and came under heavy fire from ukrainian ATGM and tank positions, resulting in severe losses for the russian side.
The magnitude of the battle is unknown, but if large could mean that between the ukrainian forces and Vasylivka there is only a part of the 429th motorized rifle regiment
