I would like to share with you these pictures which shows University of Oregon's Graduate Teaching Fellows Federation (GTFF) standing in solidarity with the #Kurdish_resistance in #Rojava/Northern Syria, and condemning Turkey's attacks.
The GTFF is a university union that represents graduate student workers collectively. Aside from striving for better working and living conditions for graduate employees, the GTFF also has a strong commitment to staying in solidarity with a multiplicity of social and political struggles, especially those of minorities and marginalized peoples.
On 10/15/2019 the GTFF members expressed their solidarity with the Kurdish resistance in Rojava/Northern Syria against Turkey's attack, through these photos that followed my short explanation of the situation in Rojava.
I would appreciate it if you could share/publish the photos with a brief caption, perhaps on Kolber News?

A Border_porters known as Kolbar was beaten by rifle butt
On Wednesday, August the 12th, regime forces arrested and severely beat a Kolbar named "Reza_Abdollahi" from the village of "Tau_Gezi" a part of "Thalas and Baweh_Jani" city in the #Nosud border strip. Border soldiers brutally hit him on the head with a rifle butt and severely injured him.
Likewise, on Thursday, August the 6th, a 16-year-old #Kurdish Kolbar named "Mobin_Hosseini" from the village of "#Dorisan" in #Paveh district was wounded by government soldiers.

Kolbari is not merely a story of poverty but a harrowing testament to the enduring anguish of the #Kurdish people in the occupied lands of #Kurdistan.
It is the sacrifice of bodies, minds, and life at the altar of survival, a survival stripped of dignity and choice. The #Kolbar stands as a poignant emblem of systemic injustice, a living manifestation of #poverty, #oppression, and the entrenched #discrimination that fractures society.
In a world where economic potential lies squandered, Kolbari emerges as a tragic product of corruption, a system designed to divide, hoard, and oppress. At one extreme, a ruling elite gorges on privilege and power; at the other, multitudes toil in despair, crushed under the weight of a future stolen from them.
Each day, under the guise of preserving national and economic security, Kolbars are reduced to expendable targets branded as smugglers, subversives, and enemies of the state. Their lives, extinguished with impunity, become little more than grim exercises in domination for the border guards. Kolbari is more than #labor; it is a cruel theater of human suffering, shaped by the machinery of an unjust #world.
