❗️Australia, New Zealand, South Korea impose emergency energy measures amid Hormuz shutdown
Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea have rolled out emergency measures to contain the fallout of the US–Israeli war on Iran, which has disrupted global energy markets and effectively shut down the Strait of Hormuz.
Australia declared a national crisis as fuel reserves fell to roughly 36 days, releasing up to 762 million litres from stockpiles and lowering fuel quality standards to boost supply. Authorities also urged reduced consumption, calling on citizens to work from home, limit travel, and cut fuel use.
New Zealand moved to expand import flexibility by allowing Australian-standard fuel for up to 12 months, while releasing oil tickets under International Energy Agency obligations. The government is also preparing targeted financial support to offset rising living costs.
South Korea raised its resource security alert, imposed fuel price caps for the first time since 1997, and restricted exports of refined products to secure domestic supply. Seoul is also releasing 22.46 million barrels from reserves while increasing coal and nuclear energy output to reduce reliance on imported fuel.

The crazy part, expected with the corrupt Trump who obsessed about the markets, he said so to end this week's market losses and make it profitable again
And in 5 days? What happens? Opsy, markets close and he can mess up as much as he want

Crude Harvest: Food Security Beyond Oil and Nano-Tech Quick Fixes
The myth of the ‘Green Revolution’ is finally evaporating in the heat of the Persian Gulf. The near-total closure of the Strait of Hormuz in March 2026 has impacted the Indian agrarian landscape.
As 16 million barrels of oil and massive #LNG shipments stall daily, India’s domestic urea production has plummeted. It is now clearer than ever that industrial agriculture is a sub-branch of the petroleum industry.
Having spent decades forcing farmers into dependency on West Asian gas for synthetic nitrogen, the state now watches as global urea prices spike by 20% in a week. This validates what…...

Pirates In Uniform: Russia And NATO Edge Closer To Direct Confrontation At Sea
NATO has declared war on the freedom of navigation. Ships believed to be affiliated with Russia were the first to be attacked. The seizure of tankers has ceased to be an isolated incident and has become commonplace. Russia and NATO are already confronting each other on land and in the air as part of the Ukrainian conflict, and now the confrontation has spread to the seas.
European allies are doing everything they can to block Russian hydrocarbon supplies to global buyers. They believe this will seriously weaken Moscow by worsening the economic situation and reducing state revenues. However, Russia remains one of the few stable suppliers of oil and gas to global markets despite the sanctions. The escalating global energy crisis caused by the conflict between Israel and the U.S. and Iran will primarily affect European supporters of ship hijackings. Moscow will not ignore attacks on its shadow fleet and will defend itself militarily. The likelihood of a naval war breaking out grows by the day.
A dead-end situation
After more than four years of hostilities in Ukraine, the united West has failed to achieve a military defeat of Moscow. Russia has faced the world's harshest sanctions, and the country is waging a grueling war that is taking a serious toll on its budget. Nevertheless, the economic situation remains relatively stable, albeit with a number of constraints. This is all thanks to a large margin of safety made possible by previously accumulated reserves and the country’s vast resource base. Maritime transportation of oil and gas plays a major role in economic stability.
