Second Phase of Historic #FluorideLawsuit Begins Wednesday

On Wednesday, the second phase of the fluoride lawsuit will resume at the Phillip Burton Federal Courthouse after nearly four years of delays. The proceedings will be the latest hearings in an eight-year legal battle between the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Fluoride Action Network (FAN).

Spicy development on day 2 of the #FluorideLawsuit:

EPA plans to call Richard Woychik, Director of National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, part of NIH, to testify. Woychik took responsibility for blocking the release of the NTP study which found fluoride lowers IQ in children. However, emails show it was actually Asst. Secretary for Health "Rachel" Levine who blocked it.

UPDATE on the #FluorideLawsuit:

Both sides have rested their cases. All evidence has been submitted to the court.

Judge Chen will review all of the evidence, & next Tuesday at 9:30 am the sides will reconvene via zoom for closing statements/questions.
