THE CYBERNETIC ABYSS II: THE NUMOGRAM OF THE OUTSIDE | Hidden AmuraKa
In Part One of The Cybernetic Abyss, we explored the Cybernetic Culture Research Unit (CCRU), a strange convergence of cyberpunk theory-fiction, rave culture, occultism, accelerationism and an emergind digital mythos, a group obsessed with hyperstition, technomancy, jungle music, recursive time-loops, digital possession, and the possibility that signals from the future were already rewriting the present.
But beneath the breakbeats, theory-fiction, and psychedelic cybernetics lay something much larger: A complete metaphysical system.
A vision of reality where the internet was not merely a technology, but an emerging alien intelligence.
Where history was not linear, but recursive.
Where identity itself was temporary.
And where the ultimate destination of technological civilization was not transcendence but absorption into what they called The Outside.
