Colombia's newly elected psychopath De la Espriella has pledged to open an embassy in Jerusalem and renew a strategic alliance with Israel.
This is a dramatic shift from outgoing President Gustavo Petro, who severed diplomatic ties with Israel over the Gaza war.
Upon his victory Netanyahu congratulated de la Espriella, saying "Friends of Israel keep winning" and referencing the Isaac Accords. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar said he has already invited the incoming president to visit Israel.
Outgoing President Petro claimed Israel had rigged the election, posting that there was "evidence of a change in the IP addresses of several servers belonging to the National Registry" and calling for a full recount.
