Turkish forces occupy a so-called buffer zone in northern Syria, while Turkish-backed armed factions known as the Syrian National Army (#SNA) control additional territory in the country on #Ankara's behalf.
Several SNA factions have been incorporated into the Syrian Ministry of Defense and took part in the horrific massacre of #Alawite & #Christian civilians in the coastal areas of #Latakia and #Jableh starting on 7 March."
