The study “The Contribution of Cytotoxic Chemotherapy to 5-year Survival in Adult Malignancies”, published in the journal “Clinical Oncology”, examined the effectiveness of #chemotherapy as a contribution to the 5-year survival rate in adult #cancer patients.

The authors conclude that the efficacy for the 22 types of cancer investigated is less than 3% (2.3% for Australia and 2.1% for the USA).
