NanoDroid version 21.0 (Codename USS Reliant) is now available.

Highlights

* official microG by mar-v-in updated to version 0.2.7.17455 (with vtm)
* fixed login issues with Google Apps
* fixed WebView 74.x login issues
* Push messages Doze whitelist support
* initial Cast API
* work-in-progress rewrite of Maps API
* bumped Play Services version to 17.4.55
* custom microG updated to version 0.2.7.17455 aswell. As most beta stuff from my custom build which I mostly collected from other contributors is now upstream, so the differences are becoming less and less and the custom build will eventually vanish. The following differences remain: light settings theme (to be able to visually differenciate both builds), improved microG settings (waiting for upstream merge) and built with mapbox instead of vtm (upstream work-in-progress).
* the installer now automatically creates the privapp-permission whitelists, so bootloops on some custom ROMs or after major updates (like from Oreo to Pie) should be a thing of the past, can be fixed with re-installing NanoDroid.
* majorly improved init scripts

Important Note

* There was an update to SafetyNet yesterday, not in what it detects, but how it works. Thus microG's DroidGuardHelper isn't up to date anymore, so currently you can't pass SafetyNet with microG.

* If you want to login to apps like Maps, Drive or whatever, first go into System Settings > Account > Google Account > Account Settings > Enable 'Allow apps to find accounts'

MinMicroG Installer

By MOVZX and FatherJony and FriendlyNeighborhoodShane

GitHub source code: https://github.com/FriendlyNeighborhoodShane/MinMicroG

Github downloads: https://github.com/friendlyneighborhoodshane/minmicrog_releases/releases (all edition can be downloaded here)

This is a simple MicroG installer that only installs the minimum basics. It can install MicroG into your system partition or as a Magisk module. It supports virtually all mobile architectures (arm/64, x86/64, mips/64) and fully supports KitKat and above. It can also (mostly) support much older versions, but sync adapters and some location providers won't work. It can even uninstall itself from your device, just rename it and flash it again. MinMicroG uses official microG APKs so can be updated from the microG F-droid repo.

The things included in the Standard Edition zip are:

- MicroG (GMSCore, GSFProxy, Droidguard, Maps APIv1) (from MicroG FDroid repo)
- Google Play store (modded for IAPs by Setialpha)
- UNLP backends (Dejá vu, LocalGSM, LocalWiFi, Mozilla, Nominatim, RadioCells) (From FDroid repo)
- AuroraDroid (From Whyorean's GitLab)
- AuroraServices (From Whyorean's GitLab)
- Swipe libs for AOSP keyboard (From OpenGApps GitHub repo)
- Some Google DRM jars (From OpenGApps GitHub repo)
- Google Sync adapters for KK to O (From OpenGApps GitHub repo)
- Permission files for all of this
- An addon.d file to backup/restore everything on a rom flash

The things included in the NoGoolag Edition zip are:

- MicroG (GMSCore, GSFProxy, Droidguard, Maps APIv1) (from MicroG FDroid repo)
- FakeStore (from MicroG FDroid repo)
- AuroraStore (From Whyorean's GitLab)
- AuroraDroid (From Whyorean's GitLab)
- AuroraServices (From Whyorean's GitLab)
- UNLP backends (Dejá vu, LocalGSM, LocalWiFi, Mozilla, Nominatim, RadioCells) (From FDroid repo)
- Permission files for all of this
- An addon.d file to backup/restore everything on a rom flash

The things included in the UNLP Edition zip are:

- UNLP (From FDroid repo)
- Maps APIv1
- UNLP backends (Dejá vu, LocalGSM, LocalWiFi, Mozilla, Nominatim, RadioCells) (From FDroid repo)
- Permission files for all of this
- An addon.d file to backup/restore everything on a rom flash

The things included in the AuroraServices Edition zip are:
- AuroraServices (From Whyorean's GitLab)
- Permission files for all of this
- An addon.d file to backup/restore everything on a rom flash

The zip debloats 3 Google apps from your phone (GmsCore, GoogleServicesFramework, Phonesky and their MicroG counterparts) and 4 NLP providers. In Magisk mode, they won't be removed from system, and if you uninstall the pack, they'll come back. If you install in system, the debloated stuff will be stored in internal-storage/MinMicroG/Backup.
WARNING: This zip does not and never will debloat anything else because that is the minimum coming in MicroG's way. I have had my own share of PTSD with debloating. I believe (through guesswork) that it should work even on flashes over gapped ROMs, but don't take my word for it. Debloat before you flash.

For support:
If you flashed through recovery, provide its logs.
If you used Magisk Manager, provide its logs.

Thanks to @osm0sis for the base magisk/recovery code and inspiration and guidance on the majority of the stuff in here. You're awesome.
Thanks to @Setialpha, the creator of NanoDroid, and ale5000 for the lib installation code and permissions code.

⚠️ Check the guide called readme.md inside the zips ⚠️

Probably the last release with custom APKs made for my own satisfaction until Marvin revives microG to its former glory. With all the recent fixes made while sitting at home (thanks COVID-19!)

Why you would bother flashing this:
Formally put the scripts under GPLv3
Added an install.md file as a handy reference manual and guide
Update AuroraSuite, Play store
Remove DroidGuard for obvious reasons (thanks Googs!)
Replace abandoned FDroid GSM NLP backend with releases from @ploink
Removed unmaintained radiocell backend that was crashing on many phones
Now uses awk from MBB if you have Magisk installed
Fix the (yet inexplicable) rare simple_mount bug that expanded faster than the universe (thanks advanced physics!)

Still the same selfbuilt GMSCore and UNLP for background location fix

Nanodroid developer is back!

https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-nanomod-5-0-20170405-microg-t3584928/page816

Hi everyone,

I know I've been inactive for about 2 or 3 months here.

Those who follow the git repository might already know that some groundbreaking work was going on since beginning of August.

A new beta release 22.6.91 (= 22.7-beta2) will drop this weekend. What's to expect:

- full support for Android 10 (many issues resolved)
- full support for Android 10 if deodexed in the Patcher
- flashing all Packages (except the Uninstaller, needs a few changes, still) through Magisk Manager, this includes the Patcher as well (yes, yes!)
- more. See ChangeLog.md for the full list.

I won't go into reading the past 10+ pages, if there are any unresolved issues or questions, feel free to post them again (or in case of issues even better: create a ticket over at gitlab, with logs included).

NanoDroid 22.6.91 (22.7-beta2)

As promised, a new beta release is now available for testing: 22.6.91 (= 22.7-beta2)

Highlights

Full Android 10 compatibility (many issues resolved)
Full Android 10 compatibility for Patcher (services.jar must be deodexed, though)
Support flashing of all modules (including the Patcher!) through Magisk Manager (requires Magisk 19.0 at minimum)
Fixed several issues
build-package previously only worked in GNU/Linux, will now work on *BSD and Darwin (= MacOS) aswell
Usual updates

Configuration Changes:

1) Full package switched from Oandbackup to OAndBackupX (you'll be auto-migrated)

2) You can now install Play Store and Aurora Store (+ Aurora Services) together by using
Code:

nanodroid_play=30

3) You can now install official F-Droid and Aurora F-Droid clients (+ F-Droid Privileged Extension / Aurora Services) together by using
Code:

nanodroid_fdroid=3

4) You can now choose which init scripts to install by removing unwanted ones from the list
Code:

nanodroid_init="10_sqlite 20_fstrim 30_logcat 40_external_sd 50_logscleaner"

5) You can now choose which shell utils to install by removing unwanted ones from the list (the column utility will always be installed, as it's required by nanodroid-overlay script)
Code:

nanodroid_utils="findfs findmnt hexdump lessecho lesskey lsblk lscpu lsipc lslocks lsns ncal whereis"

6) You can select all new/changed stuff from Setup Wizard aswell, of course

Anarchy-Droid

One-Click Android rom installation assistant

Anarchy-Droid is an application designed to help you install custom roms on your Android device. It is supposed to make the process of finding, downloading and installing a rom (with addons like F-Droid and microG) as easy as possible. The primary audience is all the folks who do not really know anything about Android, TWRP or roms, but still would like to run a free, open-source and non-bloated Android on their devices. Using a free after-market rom like LineageOS should not be restricted to the few people with enough technical know-how to do the complex installation procedure all by themselves.

Anarchy-Droid is available for Windows, Mac and Linux. As of now, it should be working fine with many Samsung, OnePlus, Motorola, NVidia and Sony devices and with all other devices that already have TWRP installed.

Anarchy-Droid is the successor of Free-Droid which has been fully rewritten from scratch in go.
