Possible hostage situation at Ubisoft company in Montreal
What looked like a hostage situation at Ubisoft's Montreal offices on Friday afternoon turned out to be a hoax by someone who alerted emergency services from inside the facility.
According to initial information gathered by the QMI Agency at 1:30 p.m., dozens of people were possibly being held hostage in a building housing the video game company's offices at the corner of Saint-Laurent Boulevard and Saint-Viateur Street in the Mile-End district.
