Of course they made the robots look like a T-800 and Predator. That was the point.
It wasn’t Skynet. A human was still piloting the thing. The clip looks like the machine won. REK’s CEO says Lapenna came back, ripped its head off, and walked away with a hand injury from punching metal.

Not the Colosseum yet. The dress rehearsal. Get the people used to a machine in the cage, same height as a man, same highlight-reel violence.
