Webrender in stable publication for the first time
With the so-called Webrender, a new technology, which Mozilla has been working on for several years, will also be rolled out for the first time. The aim of the project is to render the entire browser in 2D on the GPU and thus speed it up massively.

The function will initially be activated for Firefox users with Windows 10 and a desktop GPU from Nvidia, which should correspond to about 4 percent of the browser's desktop users. As explained in a detailed blog post, Webrender will only be activated step by step by the end of May for this small number of users.

💡To activate this function for you already now: (Firefox will be much faster)

Enter about:config in the address bar of your firefox and search for " gfx.webrender.all"
then set it from false to true.
> gfx.webrender.all;true <

❗️ Warning:
This is at the expense of your electricity bill, as the GPU will be more heavily used.
