🔻Imam Husayn (‘a) is the most stimulating part of our religion.
🔸These days are the days of the anniversaries of the births of #Imam_Husayn (‘a), Aba al-Fazl #Abbas and #Imam_Sajjad (‘a). Karbala and the day of #Ashura of Aba Abdillah (‘a) are the most stimulating parts of our religion. No other part of religion is like this to be able to create this much #enthusiasm in a person’s heart. Sometimes you see people putting more energy for Ashura than for the Nights of Power. Why? Because what we do for the day of Ashura is mostly due to our enthusiasm, and not to our fear. It is not like the Nights of Power when we pray because we are afraid that our destiny will be ruined or our sins won’t be forgiven. Of course, fear is good and necessary, but it is incomparable with respect to enthusiasm.
🔸On the day of Ashura you go to religious gatherings and marches because of your enthusiasm for Aba Abdillah (‘a). On Ashura, people are not even after gaining rewards, and they do things because of their pure enthusiasm, which is the product of their pure love. What other factor can create this enthusiasm in us like Aba Abdillah al-Husayn (‘a)? This enthusiasm is truly amazing.

🔻The Shia & Sunnis should show empathy, which is higher than unity.
🔸The advice of the last Imam before the Occultation is strategic advice before the Reappearance. #ImamHasanAskari (as) said, “…Attract all the hearts to us…” [Tuhaf al-Oqul, p. 488] When the Imam said “all,” he was referring to the Sunnis.
🔸O followers of Imam Ali (as), work toward more than unity between #Shia & #Sunni. Attract their hearts. You can claim to be a Shia of Imam Ali (as) and awaiting Imam Mahdi’s Reappearance (a.j.) when there are Sunnis among your friends too.
🔸Higher than #unity between the Shia & Sunnis, we should raise the slogan of showing #empathy. Not arguing isn’t enough; we should embrace each other.
🔸During the time of the Household of the Prophet (as), great Sunni scholars used to show their love for these descendants of the Prophet and were their students. They considered the love of the Household of the Prophet to be necessary and a part of religion. If your belief is true, you should attract the hearts. The tradition continues, “Keep all bad impressions away from us. Be a decoration for us, not a dishonor.” This means you should be such that when people see you, they praise your Imam who has trained you. “If they become sick, visit them. Be present at their burial. Participate in their group prayers.”
For example, some Sunni brothers believe #ImamMahdi (a.j.) hasn’t been born yet. You can tell them it’s good they like Mahdi (a.j.), we can hold joint celebrations for this amount of oneness that exists.
🔸For #Ashura too we can hold joint gatherings with the Sunni brothers, because Imam Husayn (as) fought with #Yazid, the common enemy of the Shia & Sunni. The crimes Yazid committed against the Sunnis in Medina he didn’t commit against the Shia in Medina. Yazid’s soldiers committed crimes in Medina that the Takfiris don’t do today! They beheaded many of the Prophet’s Companions and the Tabi’un, who were all Sunnis! Imam Husayn (as) is an area where the Shia & Sunni can be #united; both are outraged at Yazid.
🔸We honor the martyrdom of Imam Hasan Askari (as) & the start of the Imamate of our last Imam, Imam Mahdi (a.j.).
