🔸Among the various ways of achieving #tranquillity, one of the fundamental and magnificent ways is #affection. With affection, ease will increase and hardships can be tolerated more easily.
🔸Having affection for God, His Guardians, and His servants are related to each other and increase one another. Having affection for God and His Guardians makes the way to God easier. Having affection for God’s servants makes the hardships that come to us from them easier. Having affection for Imam Husayn (as) and participating in mourning ceremonies for him will even increase our affection for others.
🔸Imam Sajjad (as) told Zuhri, “Why don’t you consider other people to be your own #family? This means that you look at elder people as being your fathers and mothers, see younger people to be like your children, and consider those who are your age to be your brothers. If you consider other people to be your own family, which one of them do you want to oppress?! Which one of them do you like to curse? Whose reputation are you willing to ruin?!”
🔸If you are as #kind to everyone else as you are to your family, you will have a more #tranquil life. Your enemies will become less, and the number of your friends will increase. You will become happy at their goodness, and you will not become angry at their badness.
