Sie ducken sich, fühlen sich klein,
in ihrem starken Opfersein.
Doch hast du das Licht der Liebe entdeckt,
dein höheres Selbst die Hände ausstreckt.
Es wird dich führen aus jeder Not
Selbstermächtigung bis in den Tod.

Lasst und alle zusammenstehen,
denn dadurch können wir verstehen
wie wir in eine friedliche Zukunft gehen.

Biden’s energy secretary LAUGHS at question on high US gas prices

Asked if she had a plan to lower the skyrocketing gasoline prices at US pumps, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm laughed it off as a “hilarious” idea, before falling back on the Biden administration’s talking points about OPEC.

“That is hilarious. Would that I had the magic wand on this,” she said, then pivoted to arguing that high oil prices are due to a “global” cartel and therefore not something the US can do much about.

Yemen Officials: At Least 200 Killed in Fighting Around Maarib

📡@G3News: On Wednesday (Nov. 3), Saudi Arabia reported 145 Houthis killed in 24 hours of airstrikes. Yemeni officials are now reporting at least 200 killed in 48 hours, including fighting on the ground.

Heavy fighting has also wounded hundreds in the areas around Maarib.

That’s been the story of this offensive, heavy death tolls but steady progress on the Houthi side. After nine months, the Houthis have the city nearly surrounded, and the pro-Saudi forces are expecting a siege.

Biden Administration Approves $650 Million Missile Sale to Saudi Arabia

📡@G3News: The Pentagon announced Thursday (Nov. 4) that the State Department approved a potential sale of missiles to Saudi Arabia worth about $650 million.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) said Saudi Arabia requested a purchase of 280 AIM-120C air-to-air missiles, 596 LAU-128 Missile Rail Launchers, and other related equipment. The primary contractor is Raytheon Technologies, the former employer of Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.

The DSCA said the sale is in support of Saudi Arabia’s air force that is waging a major air campaign in Yemen. In February, President Biden vowed to end support for Riyadh’s “offensive” operations in Yemen.
