Paint your Pain

The thought of
You
Ignites a fire
Within.

The wounds you
Left
Evoke the fire
To write.

The words I
Write
Are the flames
Of anguish.

The passion in
My rhyme
Will not burn
The imprint
Your presence left.
Your memory
Dances a beautiful
Sad dance
With the flames.

It sparks
A love gone
An absent desired love
In my cold heart.
The warmth
Of this impossible
Desired passion
Keeps your essence
Alive
In every corner
Of my bleeding
Heart.

I scratch
The wounds with
Pen and bleed
To paint the pain
Of your
Memories.

The poetry keeps me nice
And warm.

Being cold and drenched from the rain
My thoughts turn to writing a poem

So I sit near the window
Holding my pen and notebook

Seeing the falling rain
From the window pane
Reminds me the glance of
Your intoxicating eyes
Through the veil

The blowing air reminds me of
The open swirling tresses of your hair

Chilly breeze touching my skin
Reminds me the touch of yours
Sending waves across the body

The raindrops kissing my cheeks
Reminds me the taste of your dew drops

The aroma of wet soil
Reminds me of your fragrance
Soothing my heart

In the flooded heart
The ink flows like a river
Creating another ocean of words

Having you drenched in the rain of verses
You shiver in the chill of love
Oh my dove!
Let's bloom together.
