It was one of those nights. Five men walked into the bar and took seats at the table I was assigned to. I quickly arranged my hair and put on the most bizarre smile. If I was going to get any tip, I had to be on my best behavior.
"What would you like?" I asked watching them skim through the menu
"You... " One of the men replied taking off his shades to reveal the most captivating and bewitching set of eyes.
I couldn't stop staring at his deep brown eyes, a masterpiece designed by the creator and definitely with some fine clay. Our eyes remained locked and at some point, it felt weird that he was looking at me.
"Sorry?" I asked, pretending not to have heard him just order for a "me"
Then he turned away and looked at one of the men while talking to me.
"What's today's special?"
I realized at that moment that he couldn't see me. He couldn't see anyone or anything and he definitely didn't fall in love with me like I just did.
