TITLE: Pledge your pain
Pledge your pain to the indomitable courage,
If you want to be safe from the dreaded scourge.
Pledge your pain to the money you earn,
For the world has an eye on everything you churn.
Pledge your pain to the good customaries,
If you want your world to be free of miseries.
Pledge your pain to the power you believe,
You may need it on the day when world will leave you to bleed.
Pledge your pain if you have the will,
Cause life is going to test you on your way to every hill.
Pledge to your pain if you have it all,
Cause it never left you in your rise or the fall.
Pledge the pain to your negative thoughts,
Cause they were there even when you never sought.
Pledge your pain to your beliefs ,
Thank them for keeping your safe.
Pledge your pain to the nature that exists,
Cause everything might seem like a malignant cyst.
Pledge your pain to the keeper of
Pledge your pain to your pain,
Cause it may help you remain sane.

Time illusion or reality
The title I choose for this excerpt is because time has been a mystery ever since we have known time. Several scholars and scientists have said numerous things about time.
" Time is money." – Benjamin Franklin
"Lost time is never found again. " – Benjamin Franklin
"Better three hours too soon than a minute too late. " – William Shakespeare
"Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend." – Theophrastus
" Time is free, but it’s priceless. You can’t own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep it, but you can spend it. Once you’ve lost it you can never get it back."
........Harvey Mackay
"Time is a cruel thief to rob us of our former selves. We lose as much to life as we do to death."
Elizabeth Forsythe Hailey
Since the start of civilization humans have used natural resources like the occurrences of darkness and light, position and movement of the moon in the sky to keep track of time, this let the invention of seasons, It was only 30,000 years ago when humans first started using sundial ( using mountain and tree shadows at first), water clocks to measure time,
The division into 60 originated from the ancient Babylonians (1900 b.c.e.–1650 b.c.e.), who attributed mystical significance to multiples of 12, and especially to the multiple of 12 times 5, which equals 60. The Babylonians divided the portion that was lit by the Sun into 12 parts, and the dark interval into 12 more, yielding 24 divisions now called hours, although it is not known but we have started to use analogue watched some 400 years ago and our recent discoveries made is develop the atomic watch that could measure time to the billionth of a second is only somewhat 50 years old.
Multiple advancements and research by some great scholars like Albert Einstein and Isaac Newton let to the development of the "Theory of Relativity " that even said that time is a dimension and everything is relative to this fourth mysterious dimension. We are still moving further with research on time cause there are several mysterious lurking in the universe about how the could be bent to move between future , present and past.
Equivocating all about time there is still one fact that several people are trying to unveil about this "mysterious being" called time ( maybe I went too far and called it a being), is that should time really matter, although it is essential but what about the stories of people who have broken free from shackles of time. Those "ageless beings" do they exist, cause if they do we have not understood time, maybe time is really a being that keeps reminding us of its passage and drains us of our life energy just like some scholars quoting 'time' to be a 'thief' of all we love and care . Our bodies some say has our own clock and there are some who have control over it.
"Suspect each moment, for it is a thief, tiptoeing away with more than it brings." ........John Updike
In the ancient Hindu mythology "Aatma" has been said to be immortal , an entity that never dies, what if that is true and we can find a way out to win over our consciousness one day and live without this mortal body remembering all that we do .
Mythology talks about time as ageless that it existed even when there was nothing and would still exist even all that we know ceases to exist.
There is still a lot to be said and discussed about time. Maybe together we will be able to unravel it's mystery or maybe not, cause even when I am writing this is flowing at its own pace and we are losing that part of it causing it to look more mysterious. Keeping it's secret to oneself it goes on and on and on........

Title: The Moon and the Sun
The Moon and the Sun had always been thought of to be of the same origin but they differ so much in their appearance and functions that makes me wonder what causes them to behave in this way. Are they brothers with one having the nature of a fearsome fireball while the other cold as ice complementing each other in our solar system or are they two monks who have chosen different paths to achieve what they have set out for, one burning itself in the fire like a priest to meet it's creator while the other freezing in cold for the same purpose.
Some say that they have made a truce to divide our time into day and night so as not to interfere in each others functionality. It might also be possible that the Moon is a spy set out by his/her boss the Sun (because it is also believed that Moon has it's origins from the Sun) to look upon us when earth's rotation causes it to hide portions of itself from the Sun.
One also can't rule out the possibility of the Sun being the lover of the Moon , chasing it day and night, separated from the Moon by someone envious of their love making them stay away from each other still bound by their inevitable fate to stay away only to come face to face on eclipses. Though they still are not ready to give up their everlasting, sempiternal, perdurable and unabating love.
The Sun and the Moon have a very distinct relationship , while the Moon has pledged it's alliegance to the earth separated by several light years but not able to escape the Earth's gravity, the Sun however refuses to let go of the Moon by refusing the Earth it's freedom and forcing it to stay in it's orbit and thereby ensuring it's friend the Moon never goes out of it's sight.
Now coming to the image, it depicts the Moon thinking about the Sun and feeling depressed when thinking about not being able to meet his friend the Sun and the Sun being ignorant of this fact drowns itself in daily chores.
While the Moon couldn't stop thinking about Sun day in and day out is now saddened by the fact that Sun never really talks face to face and waits for the sun to come face to face and talk out their differences.

Basking in the rain
Capricious the sky looks deceiving,
With the thunder clouts shouting.
Agreement of the drops with the cumulonimbus is broken,
And the rain hits to quench the thirst of the parched barron.
Heavenly arrows releive the pain of the mother,
Which made her sick to the point of shedding tears.
While I walk through the rain saving my head,
I could the see the kids basking in the mud.
Thunder roars louder anouncing the upcoming spring,
The lotus leaves savour the pearls and the nature blings,
Every soul in the nature is happy fledgling and absconding,
The nature itself is overwhelmed and in the rain busy basking.

SPIRITUALITY
Many define spirituality on how they find peace (inner and outer), awakening their senses, minimal use of resources, not hurting others and in many other ways. But spirituality is not just something that one can attain and say I am spiritual.
In order to understand Spirituality one must first understand the "Atma-the spirit", which is the source of all that we do and who all we actually are.
Spirit or Aatma is the one that does everything, the" jiva " that is so important for our survival is nothing but a small part of our body called "atrium node" that regulate the "jivan or life" which is further at the behest of the 'Spirit or the Aatma'.
Spirit is the closest possible thing one can relate to the smallest but the most important particle in the universe and yet the most important. Some thinkers believe even this universe has its its own "Spirit or Aatma".
So coming to Spirituality we can think of it as our "Spirit or Aatma" becoming one or attaining resonance with the Spirit of universe, or become one with the "Aatma" of the universe.
Our consciousnesses or the 'Jiva' should not think otherwise of other's 'Jiva' when we have attained spirituality rather we should think of it as a part of the same large spiritual awareness of the Universe .
Hence the peace , the oneness with God, the openness to all the universal energy , the respect for everything in the universe all comes along as we attain Spirituality.

Title: THE SIX PATHS OF PAIN
Here , I am sharing something that I believe in , it might contain some religious beliefs and preaching but it's not meant to hurt someone.
Please allow me to present before you
THE SIX PATHS OF PAIN
The contents are both my own and excerpts from other platforms
(1) - Deva Path -
This path is the topmost path / realm the Aatma or the spirit can be reborn into or walk upon . This realm has all the luxuries but it's painful cause it makes your soul feel too blessed to be close to the "Superior being" that the "Aatma" seeks. It takes you farther from path that one must tread to achieve 'Moksha'. It cauaes Aatma to be reincarnated again to some other realm based on the Karma In the birth cycle of Aatma.
Devas suffer from pride and knowledge that their long lives and powers will not prevent their eventual rebirth.
(2) - Asura Path.
It is the another path or realm, the Aatma can be reborn into. This is the most painful and scariest path of reincarnation causes all the hellish actions are bound to happen in this realm that cause reincarnation into one of the realms again to force the Aatma to go through the pain again. Also the activities of this realm creatures is said to affect the peace and livelihood of other realm.
The asuras have power like the Devas but lack knowledge and hence suffer through violence.
(3) - Human Path.
Human realm is painful in the sense that the action comprise of all the cognitive action , the human has the ability to reason and hence must follow the path of spiritual awakening or at least do so and attain Moksha- become one with the superior being. If the aatma could not attain moksha in this realm it has to repeat the entire cycle or rebirths and go through all suffering again.
(4) - Animal Path.
This is the realm where the aamta only is reborn to eat, sleep, and reproduce. This is realm is also not considered good cause the creatures are said to be forced to pray on others for food.
This reals suffers from lack of cognition, instinct to survive, ignorant of what is happening to them.
(5) - Preta Path
This reincarnation of the Aatma in this realm is due to the 'Moh' or aasakti for some incomplete desires and the suffering . limitless aasakti cause Aatma is not able to set it free from the rebirth into the same realm again and again.
The Pretas suffer from never ending thirst and hunger.
(6) - Naraka Path
This is the path the Aatma should tread where the Aatma is supposed to pay for all bad it has done in any of the realms. This is the most painful realm where the "king of hell_ Yama" punishes Aatma for its sins to be reborn into a higher realm.

Title:
Wicked, tainted feelings
Silver lining in the cloud has disappeared,
Wind that soothed the wound has run stale,
Sun that gave life has started to scorch the greens,
Water that ran free on land has turned stagnant,
Sky that was endless has been confined to window panes,
Once most beautiful views have turned to eyesore,
Living dead has been roaming the parched land,
Piousness of the saints has turned to infatuations,
Crosses of the priest now preach the devil,
Pastures have turned to graveyards for the bovines,
All hope that once existed has turned to the desert of ashes,
Dreams of the innocent are no longer pure,
Curses now seem more pure than the blessings,
Death seems more real than the living,
All beings seek to quench the thirst for blood,
Trees no longer bear the fruit of taste,
All this chaos, and still peace finds the conch that would cast it loud,
Pain is soothing as it still is the best teacher,
Despair is comforting as it is still pious to its preaching for the evil,
Poison is more realistic than the medicine,
Thorns still stand tall to guard the beautiful,
Fool seems more innocent than the dreadful genius,
Facts fade fast than the lie in the face of truth,
And still there is peace in every ounce of pain wrecking the nerves,
Wounds heal as the soul is more hurtful,
No end to this atrocious sea of thoughts haunting every minute,
For the soul is real , the pain is real but the man is void, so they say...

Death
The word Death always strikes fear in the minds of people, fills it with thoughts of mourning, pain, bereavement, caprice and physical loss. However Death is the one of the truth that nobody has ever been able to avert or prove wrong. Death is painful to some but happiness for some who believe in the spirituality and immortality of the soul and the never ending cycle of rebirth until one finds the "moksha". Some celebrate death as it helps the soul meet the superior being which some of us call "the Creator or the God".
But what is death really? This question has been answered by many in different ways
"Death is the cessation of all biological functions that sustain a living organism. Phenomena which commonly bring about death include aging, predation, poisoning, malnutrition, disease, suicide, homicide, drug intoxication, starvation, dehydration, and accidents or major trauma resulting in fatal injury."
"In Buddhist doctrine and practice, death plays an important role. Awareness of death was what motivated Prince Siddhartha to strive to find the "deathless" and finally to attain enlightenment. In Buddhist doctrine, death functions as a reminder of the value of having been born as a human being."
In Hindu Mythology death has been been describe as the soul becoming from the bonds of consciousness, bodily functions, relationships of materialistic world, disconnect from the senses only to be reborn again in a new holding entity.
There have been many instances where people have been declared dead but returned to life only to die again.
Hence this gives us one truth that
"Death is inevitable".
However death is one event that helps us understand that nothing will remain forever, every living being is going to perish someday.
Nothing can stop the death from getting to you but we should not be afraid of it as it is the same as birth and other events bound by limitations of time , place and cause.

Title: The night of fear and happiness
As I was trying to sleep there was a creaky voice and a cold breeze brushed against my face, which sent a cold shiver down my spine, it took me no time to realise that something spooky is happening around me. As I turned around in the direction of the ghastly noise, I found trails of blood like something big has been dragged down the corridor.
As I followed the blood trail it took me to the drawing room where the carpet was wet with the blood , fresh it was flowing out to the floor from the carpet.
I was exclaimed to see the blood as the remains of a strange thing which seemed to be of an animal drew my attention, this further intensified my fear.
I was suddenly reminded of the tale of a beast that lived in the snowy barrens which sometimes went on rampage to kill the entire families. I was overcome by feeling of strange misfortune , when another gust of wind struck me from behind. I noticed it was coming from the back door. I ran to it only to find more blood trails coming straight in from the door. I was terrified to see the trails and then a strange noise of something cracking increased my fear. Everything was silent and the noise was loud and clear to confirm that they was this noise of bones cracking as some animal was trying to chew the bones.
I ran towards the noise , it was coming from around the room of Tina and David who were playing video games. The blood trail was also there in front of their room and the bathroom right in front of kids rooms.
I was taken aback by fear, I pushed the door open only to find kids fast asleep and video game still running. I closed and locked the door to ensure that the kids were safe. Then I turned to bathroom and opened the door only to find a bloodbath from a great struggle, sink and the bath tub filled with blood and hairs of the same strange animal as I saw in the drawing room. My heart was pounding like it was about to come to come to my mouth, I couldn't think straight, several strange emotions and scenarios strayed through my mind which left my head throbbing. I was reminded of Hansel who went to the forest to fetch some good wood to repair the barn for hens outside. My heart was pounding and I was out of breath, suddenly I heard the bone cracking sound again and I noticed it was coming from the front door, I ran to look at it with thoughts of several mishaps that could have occurred.
I flung open the front door and there lied Percy, with a carcass of a big deer under it's monstrous paws. Percy our pet wolf had learned to kill and was enjoying his hunt satisfying it's blood thirst. I thought I should leave him alone but as he looked at me, I saw the same eyes of the cub that walked to our door on a stormy day almost about to die of cold. We took him in and raised him as our family member. Now he sees us as our pack. I was happy and sad cause it seemed like it was time for him to return to the wild again and roam free as the king of the snows and find himself a new pack.

Title: Stand up for what you believe
Everyone can agree that currently all of us are feeling depressed in some way or other. Gloom , despair, pain and casualties have been like incessant rains in our life and everyone else we know. While many are afflicted by the miseries , causing them to loose hope, some still find courage to stand up for the things they want to protect.
"The ray of hope" and "belief in yourself" go hand in hand cause without courage and belief you cannot see through the thick clouds of darkness. That small and weak ray of hope could only become a beam , strong enough to be able to tear apart that darkness, until it finds the connection with the hope that instills impetus in ourselves to stand up for what one believes.
Even to draw a line we need to connect two dots, similar to this unless there is a cause there is no hope and with no hope despair and darkness will prevail. So let's ignite our mind and soul and start believing in what we want to change, what we want to protect, what we want to support and stand by.
Unless we do so, this weak ray of sunlight trying to reach the ground through incessant rain will never be able to reach the ground and disperse all dark clouds.
