Your Words
I say random words,
To get rid of my random thoughts,
Or maybe to grow up
that's one way to do it right?
You have to learn new words when you come to a new world
I did it once,
It works like magic
So, I did it again
This time 'cause I entered your world
I've said everything you've said,
repeating it like a sacred prayer,
I'd catched every words dripping off your lips,
Soak in them,
I'd snatched every word dangling by the edge of your teeth,
Those who were too scared to leave,
And also those words you were too scared to let go,
The ones you pushed down back to your throat,
And there were times, you were not so sure how to put it to words,
You whispered, 'I don't know how to say this...'
I answered
I'll re-arrange each and every breath of yours to make sense of it,
'Cause your words are the only things I can count on,
Like the compass which shows the true north unfailingly
I'll swing on your words, back and forth, believing they're strong enough to hold me
I utter each sylluble under my breath
I do that to understand, you see...
But sometimes I don't understand
And in those times...
I just go home and spill your words on my bed,
And wait for them,
Wait for them to re-arrange by themselves
Just like the stars up above
I stay up late till they start to shine
And allign themselves before my eyes and give me some kind of shape I recognize,
Any shape I don't really care,
I don't mind if what comes out of it is half human half horse or a woman with fish's tail,
So sitting there I wait...
Wait...
And wait some more
Just like the stars, this might take a million years.
