Broken pencil,
Broken stencil,
Broken pen still,
Writes to break hearts,
To mend hearts.
Broken ones are both fire and fog,
Might burn you till you scream,
Might choke you till you dream,
They're both dangerous and beautiful,
Might kill you and laugh,
Might save you and cry,
The question remains why, do they do this,
Why do they misbehave?
Maybe that's just what it is with the broken ones,
They don't know themselves.
