This is the (former?) Polish national prosecutor

He is a PIS guy. A few years ago PiS passed a law so that it would be harder to change him.

Article 14 of the Act on the Public Prosecutor's Office law:

"The National Prosecutor may be dismissed only with the written consent of the President"

A few days ago the new Justice minister of Poland Adam Bodnar fired him, without Andrzej Duda's consent

Main subject still that he fired the national prosecutor without getting consent from president, which is clearly required by law.

It must be infuriating for PiS, that after institutions like EU and media constantly talked about rule of law for the last 8 years, they are now congratulating their enemies who seem to be violating rule of law much more flagrantly
